First time for everything

"Where did he go?", a teenage brunette thought out loud as he hurried through the halls of his high school, classes were over for the day so everyone was gone from the school, everyone except him and his friend who was the person he was searching the school high and low for, "I didn't mean to say that to him, I should have known better though…..now I have to find Schwanheld and apologize to him for what I said." The brunette mumbled as he stopped and tried to think of where his friend Schwanheld would be. Schwanheld Oliver Bulge who preferred his friends used his last name of Bulge even though he was often mocked for it, was always a shy one around women for as long as the teen could remember Bulge; he never really had the guts to talk to them straight out and whenever any of his friends tried to get him to talk to one or tried to start a conversation between Bulge and girl, Bulge would usually back out or freeze up then turn and run away, which got most people calling him a coward or something of the sort which usually led to Bulge's other friend Harlock Franklin Phantom  who was in their grade along with Zero Cosmo Warrious to go kick the butts of the people making fun of Bulge. As the brunette neared the back of the theater area he heard what sounded like someone crying, more specifically a boy crying.
"Bulge? Is that you?" the brunette called form where he was standing, instead of getting an answer the crying stop and all the brunette heard was sniffles so he decided to walk over to where the sniffles were coming from and he found his person of interest sitting on the ground in front of him.
"Go away Wataru!" Bulge yelled in an obviously tear choked voice without looking up at who it was because he knew that voice too well, it was the voice of none other than his childhood friend Wataru Akito Yuuki.
"Bulge….Schwanheld, listen to me", Wataru sighed, kneeling down in front of the brunette and tilting Bulge's head up to look at him even though Bulge refused a couple times, he finally gave in and looked at Wataru so Wataru could see his face which was tear streaked and his eyes were red so Wataru could guess he had been crying for a while, "don't cry anymore, Bulge I can't stand to see you cry, I really hurts watching you cry like that…. I just….I wanted to apologize for what I said earlier…I didn't mean it…." Wataru said sheepishly looking at the away at the ground, "I…I had no ground to call you a coward like that…I wasn't…honestly I don't know why I said that…..but…but…." Wataru started to stammer as he was trying not to break in front of Bulge but he looked up when Bulge put his hands on his shoulders making Wataru look him straight in the face again.
"Wataru, there's no need to apologize, I…I really should learn to talk to girls…then I wouldn't get mocked all the time and that was what you were mocking me for…..my lack of confidence in myself to talk to women…." Bulge started while looking down at some dirt on his shoes then watched Wataru remove is bag and set it next to his before taking a bottle out of it, opening it and then handed it to Bulge.
"Drink, I don't think you have drank anything since you ran away earlier in the afternoon and you have been sitting here crying so you need to drink something" Wataru replied while he watched bulge take the drink from his hand, sniffs it then takes a drink of it. It was bulge's favorite drink next to that tomato juice he liked; Wataru honestly couldn't see why he liked it so much, it looked nasty to Wataru but that was his preference and he wasn't going to tell Bulge it.
"He looks so cute like this….." Wataru thought as he watched bulge put the drink down then look at him with his head to the side slightly making his hair fall softly almost into his eyes.
"Wataru….you are staring….is there something wrong or is there something on me?" Bulge asked worriedly, pulling out his phone and looking at the reflective surface to see what Wataru could be staring at. Seeing nothing, Bulge put is phone back in his pocket and looked at Wataru again who was still looking at him, "why are you staring at me Wataru? Answer me!" Bulge almost yelled at him because honestly Wataru just staring at him not doing a thing was kind of creeping bulge out to the point of scaring him but then Wataru did something Bulge did expect which was hug him. Bulge hadn't been hugged by Wataru since they were children; Wataru's hug was comforting like they had always been, Bulge waited for a bit before hugging Wataru back, they stayed like that for a while then Wataru thought of something, this feeling he was getting and had been getting since he had pulled Bulge in to the hug.
"What….what is this feeling I am getting? I…I'm not falling in love with Bulge am I? I hope not…." Wataru pondered worriedly as he laid his head on bulge's shoulder taking in Bulge's slightly sweet but yet  spicy smell, I reminded Wataru of the holidays. Soon Bulge pulled away and looked at Wataru, his cheeks dusted with a soft, light, pink toned blush from the embarrassment of the sudden hug.
"Wataru….what was the meaning of the hug? Or where you just trying to make me feel better?" Bulge lightly joked looking at Wataru who just gave him a blank look, "what's with the look? Did I do something….wrong?" bulge yelped lightly before coming to notice Wataru was kissing him, Bulge honestly had no idea what to do...This as the first time he had been kissed so he just let Wataru lead and kiss him for a little while more to see if these feeling for bulge were just a spur of the moment or if they were real, they turned out to be real so Wataru broke the kiss after a good twenty minutes before standing up, pulling Bulge to his feet, gathering their stuff and staring for the front of the school.
"I guess I am in love with him but I don't mind…being in love with Bulge is a blessing" Wataru concluded in his thoughts as he took bulge's hand and they walked to the train station to go home for the week end.
